Recent Pedestrian Deaths in Tallahassee Caused by Hit-and-Run Drivers

Milles Law is deeply saddened by the numerous, recent Tallahassee pedestrian deaths and hit and run accidents. The immense devastation each of these incidents has had on the injured, their families and our community is beyond comprehension.

October 31, 2020 — One FSU student and another victim in a Kia Optima were killed in a hit and run traffic accident by an F350 on Apalachee Parkway which investigators believe was speeding 70 mph at the time of the crash.

October 31, 2020 — A fatal pedestrian accident where an FSU student, 19 years old, was hit on Pope Street.

November 8, 2020 — A deadly hit and run crash on North Monroe Street, where the driver of a Honda Accord veered off the roadway near Sharer Road and hit a pedestrian who died of injuries at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.

November 8, 2020 — A 15-year-old girl suffered critical injuries in a hit and run accident as a pedestrian when a driver veered off the road and into the median where she was walking. The driver fled the scene and continued traveling on Deer Lake Road.

November 17, 2020 — An FSU student killed in a hit and run crash on West Pensacola Street. The FSU student was driving his scooter. Investigators say another vehicle driving at a high rate of speed struck the scooter and sped off.
